Finding reliable information about the transfer process is quite difficult. Through my extensive research, I have compiled objective information that can benefit a driven SMC student looking to transfer to a UC. I do not stand to profit from anyone reading this, I just want to see students succeed and transfer well to the school of their dreams. My obsession with transferring to the best school possible had been my number one interest and infatuation when I wrote this site in 2020, and the info still holds up while I’m updating the site in December 2023. Through speaking to students who had already transferred to elite schools, pestering counselors, scouring Reddit, and more, I gathered info before I transferred. I am choosing to stay anonymous because I am currently a student. I go to Berkeley but I went 3 for 3 and got into UCLA and UCSB as well back in 2022. I have also been deeply involved in SPMP as a mentor and was a mentee before transferring.
